1.) Identify what is most important to you as a couple. This helped us throughout the wedding process to guide us and stay with our vision. For us, this was ‘connection'—bringing both sides together to feel like they have been family forever.
2.) Do your couple photos when you feel you will be your authentic selves. We really wanted to mingle during cocktail hour so we asked our photographer at the last minute if we could get pulled during the reception to get our couple's pictures. We felt so relaxed with this and had so much fun in our photos.
