"We were married the weekend of Hurricane Ian. Since we originally planned to be married on the beach—which was no longer possible—we had to move our ceremony up to the day before and had it on our family neighbor’s front porch. It was so intimate and special. Our reception ended up being even more of a party because we totally embraced the weather! We bought ponchos and pashminas for everyone; along with tons of umbrellas. It was truly a hurricane party!"
