Fun Fact:
"Our wedding favors were scratch off tickets, which were a nod to my grandparents who passed away a few years ago. Every Christmas our stockings would have a bunch of scratch off tickets and my cousins and I would go to the dining room and scratch them off together. It was a tradition my grandparents started and we still carry on. It was really sad for me that they wouldn’t actually be there. We had a seat for them at the ceremony, and put a photo of them on it." — Nicole

Words to Live By:
- Don’t be picky about little details! If you get hung up on every little detail while planning it’s going to be a lot less fun. I gave my florists a color palette, told them what I wanted flowers for, and a couple of inspo photos. Other than that there was creative freedom, and they turned out beautiful!
- At the same time make sure you do research on vendors, photographers, makeup artists, and entertainment because they are the big things that will actually matter to you after the wedding. When I chose Mo as my photographer I made sure her editing style aligned with what I like as well—that’s really important.
- Also, if you’re planning on an outdoor ceremony, always keep in mind that weather might not go in your favor and plan for that. It rained almost all day, and my husband and I did not plan for that and reluctantly had to move our ceremony into the reception tent.
